c2c – Student Job Start
If you have recently left education and you are looking for work, c2c rail services will give you free travel to your interview between Shoeburyness and Fenchurch Station. In addition, once you've got a job, c2c rail services are offering one month’s free travel.
The scheme allows you to claim for up to three interviews per year. To apply for the scheme you need to visit a Connexions Centre near the c2c line. These include Basildon, Canvey Island and Rayleigh.
A Connexions Personal Adviser will help you complete an application for each interview. Then take this to your local c2c station, together with a passport-sized photo, for your ticket to be issued.
16-25 Railcards
If you are aged 16-25 you can save a third off most standard class rail fares throughout Great Britain with a rail card.
