Transport to school/college

Essex Travel Training
Travel training is designed to help young people with additional needs to develop the confidence to travel independently using public transport. This helps overcome problems related to employment, social inclusion, access to leisure facilities and journeys to school or college. Travel planning
Transport Direct is a travel information and journey planning service that covers both public and private transport including: car, bus, coach, rail, air and ferry. The site provides: door-to-door journey planning with step-by-step instructions and maps, details of your nearest railway station/airport/coach station, 'real time' travel news and details of car parks near to your chosen location. You can compare car journeys with available public transport to help you decide which the better option is.
Rail offers
See if you are eligible for a job start scheme (providing free rail transport to job interviews), or a rail card offering discounted rail travel.
Cycling
Getting on your bike is a great way to stay fit and healthy. Find information about staying safe on the road, bike security and maintenance.
