Homepage > Relationships

Relationships form a key part of our lives, all of them have their ups and downs and sometimes changes can occur which can be upsetting. The most important thing for you is that whatever relationship you are involved in, whether it is with a friend, partner, parent/carer or school staff, that you feel happy and comfortable with that relationship.

Some relationships are easier than others and cause little problem; others can seem difficult and cause you lots of worry and stress. Try these links for more information about relationships, good and bad.

If you do have a problem with someone, try talking to them openly and you may find a solution. If you can't, talking to a friend, relative, teacher or your Personal Adviser may help you decide what the best course of action is.

If you want to talk to someone about problems or worries in your life, you may benefit from counselling. WHCM and TeenAIM offer counselling and support services to young people over 12 throughout Essex. You can also search Essex Young Life for support services in Essex.

You can also contact your local Connexions Centre for more help or call Connexions Direct on 080 800 13 2 19.
