Aimhigher is a national programme aimed at raising participation in Higher Education (HE) from under-represented groups. By raising aspiration to HE, improving attainment and better informing young people of the progression routes available to them, not only should the numbers progressing to HE increase but those experiencing HE should better reflect the socio-economic grouping within our society.  For more information about how Aimhigher is run in Essex visit www.aimhigher.ac.uk/essex.

Essex Connexions is a key part of Aimhigher Essex and is active at all levels including representation on the Area Partnership Committee. Connexions has been at the forefront of developing an interactive guide to help students with disabilities when they are, or are thinking of applying for a Higher Education course.
